Another great countdown for the year! Don't know how you collect all these images of clocks and watches. Do you grab them while watching films?
Anyway, great post, I enjoyed it.

What a great collection of timepieces. But I'm especially taken with the one from MOONTIDE, what a woozy boozy image that is, I believe Dali had something to do with it. To have something like that on your wall, not exactly elegant but a great conversation piece. Wonder if it still exists?

Murderous Ink;
Watching DVDs with me is an endurance test. The appearance of watches, light flares, and especially snow triggers squeals, giggles and a mad scramble for the rewind button on the remote control. I need posts like this to clear my photo cache!

Guy;
I don't think that clock ever existed. That bottle rotates as do the numbers on the clock face and the outline is formed by a neon light. It's part of a beautiful montage though. I'm impressed with the number of "booze clocks" - three in one year!

There aren't many sleeves rolled back to reveal watches this time. I need to see more film noir this year.

Gorgeous and what a great idea! I never realized how lovely that clock in "Duck Soup" is.

...and who can resist a giant fleur de lis in the room, not to mention an industrial-looking whatsit to the side? Isn't it fun finding little treasures like that? I love watching movies.

This is very cool, Shahn.

A belated happy new year.
