Ghost Ship

Gorgeous cinematography only slightly marred by the poor video transfer.
Can't someone release a nice, REMASTERED boxed set to honor Val Lewton?
Or is this as good as a B-movie can hope to look?

There's a wealth of geometric combinations to be arranged on the set of a ship.
Some of this reminds me of The Long Voyage Home a few years earlier:

This is the only film left in the Lewton box set that I've yet to see. Not that I own it, but I've had the opportunity to see the others in some form or fashion over the years (TCM, VHS, DVD). I have seen the Lewton documentary though, and I recall these images from a clip included in it. As always a great choice of images, Musuraca's one of my favorites, along with Alton and a few others, I'd watch anything he photographed.

I feel the same way. I've seen enough work by Musuraca that he gets his own label.
